TLS Twin Air Tail Grip

The TLS Twin Air Tail Grip is designed to boost your airs and give you great traction. The kick is 33mm high which is very high. Unlike other kicks that have a square edge to butt the side of your foot against and hence drive, the Twin Air has a continuous sloping design. In this way the pad gives you a larger area to make a soft landing. There’s no hard kick edge for your foot to falter on. Rather it’s just one smooth continuous curve. TLS call this their Air Contact. It allows your foot to get grip even when it lands on top of the kick. The pad is relatively wide so good for wider punting boards and hybrid Fish. However the cross design of the 3 pieces means you can only expand the pad straight out, not at an angle.

The TLS Twin Air Tail Grip incorporates a centre arch of low height at 5mm. So you can easily move your foot around on the pad while still getting arch support. This helps you move forward for example when setting up for a barrel. Dimples and grooves make up the grip pattern along with slots on the arch bar. So your foot gets traction from the uneven surface no matter how it lands on the pad. The 3M adhesive is high quality. So your pad will stay put once applied.
