Description

TLS Performance 9′ KneeΒ Leash

The TLS Performance 9′ Knee Leash is a great value surf accessory. It’s ideal for your mini-mal, SUP or as your longboard leash. It’s designed to be attached to your knee so features a slightly shorter wider cuff. The knee cuff is designed to keep the leg rope out of your way. It’s a personal preference thing with the knee cuff favoured by some longboarders. The knee leash is said to facilitate walking the board or going to the nose for nose riding.

The TLS Performance 9′ Knee Leash features double stainless steel swivels at both ends so the leash turns and Β moves freely and doesn’t snake or twist up. This is an important feature. It helps prevent the cord from snagging around your fins so your board doesn’t slow down or catch.

Good Cord Diameter

TLS Performance 9′ Knee Leg Rope 7mm diameter cord is robust. This extra cord diameter provides stretch and strength so you can cope with a heavier wave or board pulling on it. So you get the right balance between stretch and strength high quality urethane is used. You quickly realise the value of this as it keeps your board just where you need it within easy reach. If you’re in the impact zone your board is easy to hand to get paddling.

The leash also doesn’t overstretch or spring back too fast. So the risk of being hit by your board springing back is greatly minimised. The TLS Performance 9′ Knee Leg Rope’s included double strings are handy. So you can use the two for extra safety in big surf or keep one as a spare. This is a great surf accessory with versatility for your mini-mal, SUP or as your longboard leash. Check our range of Leashes at Manly Surfboards>Leg Ropes
