TLS JOB Tail Pad

The TLS JOB Tail Pad is the signature pad of Hawaiian charger Jamie O’Brien. Jamie has specified key features so you get maximum performance from his pad. The pad is relatively wide so fits wide and fish tail boards. It has a 3 piece design. So the side pieces can be moved right out to the rail giving you optimal coverage. It incorporates a centre arch of high height at 7mm which is a good average height. The arch is also wide. So if you like arch support you can really plant your foot for maximum grip over this high and wide centre section.

The TLS JOB Tail kick is 27mm high so your foot can jam against it and drive. The top of the kick has a flat section that TLS call their ‘Air Contact’. This allows your foot to get some grip even when it lands on top of the kick, something that often happens when landing big progressive moves like airs. The incut tail means you can place this grip closer to the end of your board. You can place the edge of your kick right over your back fin so your back foot gets maximum drive. A square Mt Fuji pattern makes up the grip. So your foot gets traction no matter how it lands on the pad. The 3M adhesive is high quality and long lasting. So your pad will stay put once applied.
