Description
TLS Horizon Tail Pad
The Horizon Tail Pad gives you innovative high performance traction. It features a new fine pattern like corduroy. This finer texture is still noticeable by your foot. It’s more of a squishy texture that your toes can really grip into. The corduroy ridges run horizontally across the pad. So as your foot lands it has the horizontal angle to leverage against giving good grip. There’s also a 5.5mm arch bar, around the average size for an arch. If you’re a surfer who likes a flatter pad and the sensitivity that gives, then the low corduroy ridges will be almost as flat as you can get. They’ll allow your foot a lot of free movement for whatever big moves you want.
The TLS Horizon Tail Pad has a 27mm kick at the rear. The kick sticks up almost vertically with only a slight ramp. So you get a definite edge for your foot to drive against. The kick is quite narrow so the enabling you to easily position it right over your rear fin for maximum drive. An unusual feature is the incorporation of holes drilled through the kick. These are said to aid water flow. If you board tail goes underwater the holes will allow the water to shoot out the back. Top quality adhesive is used to keep the Horizon Tail Pad stuck to your board. Check our full range of Surfboard Grip at Manly Surfboards>Surfboard Grip
