The TLS Front Grip is great if you want a solid traction pad. It comes in 4 pieces. So you can keep the pad narrow for a normal shortboard. Or you can expand it closer to the rails for wider mals, longboards and SUPs. The pad has a diamond pattern with angled slats through the centre. So it’s too harsh on your chest for much use without a top, but it gives super grip for your feet. Longer use would be best with rash vest, wetsuit or other protection. The holes provide great traction so your toes can grip. They also add sensitivity into an otherwise solid slab. You can use several pads together so your longboard and SUP can get substantial coverage. Construction is of lightweight EVA. TLS is a dedicated surf company.
