It’s like a towel in that it will lay full length flat on the sand. So it can be used to lay on on the beach. It can also be used to dry off. So you can rub the water off and tie it around your waist or throw it over your neck. Then it’s also like a poncho. It’s got a hole in the middle to fit over your boy’s head. So the towel will drape both front and back. The sides though are open so it’s easy for arms to carry a surfboard, goggles, flippers and other beach play gear.

Construction of the Sunny Life Hooded Fouta Towel Boy is of 100% combed cotton. It’s not some eco unfriendly polyester or nylon. The cotton is highly absorbent so it makes for a quick dry off. The underside of the towel has an absorbent terry finish backing. So even if your boy just throws it on it will do a lot of drying. It’s generous in size 60cm x 62cm.
