The Stealth Ankle Bootie is a great bodyboard accessory. This is a low cut neoprene sock so you get protection with minimal weight and constraint around your foot. The foot area provides good coverage and the ankle strap provides ample coverage for your fin strap. These are the areas in contact with your bodyboard fin and most likely to chaff your foot. So you’ve got good protection.

Construction of the Stealth Ankle Bootie is of 2mm neoprene, the same material as your wetsuits, so they’re reasonably substantial. Solid stitching seals the neoprene around the bootie providing good durability. The base has added plastic dobbie protection so they won’t wear too quickly. The bootie provides extra warmth so can be a great Wetsuit Accessory.

The booties are slip-on and include a velcro attachment so that you can attach them to your fins. So even in the event of a big wipeout you’ve got a connection between your fins, bootie and foot. If you’ve a pair of fins that are slightly too large the booties provide padding that helps get the fit just right.
