The Spit Fire Wheels F4 101D CONICAL FULL give you specific grippier ride characteristics. F4, referring to the formula that gives them that off-white look, is super abrasion resistant. So the wheels are long lasting, yet still designed to give a specific balance between slide, grip and speed.

The wheel shape is Conical Full. It has a widest contact area in the Spit Fire range, 2-3mm more, so giving more grip that equates to control. The tradeoff is that you lose speed. With the edge cut away, making the conical shape, you still get responsiveness in that you can go hard without the edge catching. The concial shape helps transition moves in parks and bowls.

101D indicates the formula is hard, the hardest in the Spit Fire range. So the the wheel hardness will make up for the slower speed of the Conical Full shape. The 101D doesn’t have as much grip, yet works great in parks where you get smoother perfect surfaces that enhance grip. The greater contact area will also give grip.
