The Slyde Grom Soft Top Fun Handboard is a great way to take your bodysurfing to the next level. It’s a board that attaches to your hand helping you take your bodysurfing to faster rides and bigger moves. The board is constructed similar to a bodyboard. It has a slick bottom so you get speed on the wave. The core is EPS foam that is buoyant and keeps you up out of the water when you catch a wave, gliding on the wave face. The core is also 100% waterproof so if you get a ding your handboard will not take on water and still perform. Under your hand there’s a comfy EBS foam skin that’s similar to that on a bodyboard. Along with a velcro strap this helps your handboard stay attached to your hand.

Super light the Slyde Grom Handboard makes it easy to swim out through the break. Then once out the back you can catch waves and surf on the wave face. The way the Slyde Grom handboard works is that when a wave comes you stroke with your free hand without the handboard. You can also kick, and using flippers will give you extra push. As you catch the wave you extend your hand with the Slyde out in front of you and let the board slide on the wave surface. In one consistent motion you put your weight forward and push down on the Slyde.

The Slyde won’t go underwater, you leverage yourself up freeing your upper body from the wave and you are then bodysurfing. With this high tech handboard you’ll get long fun rides like a board rider.
