The Ryder Mal Series Foam Softboard gives you performance features in an easy to ride super fun package. The board is a Softboard. This means it’s not made of fibreglass. It has soft foam on the deck and a harder plastic slick on the bottom. It’s a similar construction to a bodyboard.

The Ryder Surfboards have a construction of advanced materials to give you extra performance. The deck is a new high strength Skintec foam. This helps your board keep the integrity of its shape on the wave giving you extra speed and responsiveness when you turn.

It’ll hold up to extra bumps and dents being long lasting. If you do get a ding the EPS core is 100% waterproof so you won’t take on water. It’s much softer than fibreglass so if you’re learning or an advancing Beginner bumps are greatly reduced. It’s a great foam Surfboard Australia option.

Fun & Progressive Features

The Ryder Mal Series features an EPS foam core. This is a very buoyant strong foam so you get great paddling and easy wave catching. Getting waves is what it’s all about and the Ryder will get you plenty.

The design of the board, the outline, tail shape and rails make for easy, forgiving surfing. It’ll help you start doing turns, not catching in the chop and wave bump, and help you glide through the foam for long rides.

Another advanced feature is the Interchangeable Fin Box System. This allows you to swap fins. When you start surfing soft fins are standard. However swapping to a stiff set will allow you to progress and surf faster. You can make wave sections that would previously leave you behind so you’ll spend more time on the board.
