The Orca Flat Hand Paddles are a great training aid for your swimming. The way the paddles work is you attach them to your hands. You then go about your swim routine. However the paddles give a larger and stiffer surface area than that of your hands. This surface area creates drag and friction as you draw your hand through the water. This in turn increases the strength required to complete each stroke so exercises your muscles to a greater degree than normal swimming.
