Ocean & Earth UV Light White Resin 1oz

Ocean & Earth UV Light White Resin 1oz has what you need for basic surfboard repairs. The tube contains polyester resin impregnated with micro resin balloons. These are small round balls just a bit bigger than a pin head. They’re super light. The idea is that they add volume to your repair without adding weight. So a bigger hole can be filled or area covered without the weight of a solid resin fill.  When you squeeze the resin out of the tube it comes out white because of the micro balloons. Note it stays white when it goes hard so if your board is coloured check if you want this white look.

The Ocean & Earth UV Light White Resin kit includes sand paper. To improve the grip of the resin use the sand paper to roughen the surface around the repair. In this way the bond between the repair and your board will be strong. It is important to use this sand paper to reduce rough and sharp edges so you don’t cut yourself while surfing. The small piece of included fiberglass cloth can be used to cover over larger holes and shatters. So you don’t have to rely just on the resin. If you have a hole fill it with resin first. Once the hole is level with the surrounding area apply the cloth with more resin. Use the included applicator to direct the resin well into the repair.

The UV aspect of the Ocean & Earth UV Light White means that you do all your fixing in the shade and when ready expose to sunlight and the repair will harden from the UV rays and be ready in minutes.
