The extra long rail saver gives the finer rear edge of your board protection preventing the cord from biting into it under the strain of a bigger wave. It also projects that end of the cord away from your feet. Swivels at both ends keep the Ocean & Earth Premium Longboard One-XT Leash turning and moving freely so it doesn’t snake or twist up. This is an important feature as it helps prevent the legrope from snagging around your fins. So your board won’t slow down or catch. The ankle cuff has its padding doubled. So you get extra comfort and no chaffing. If there’s a solid yank on your leg you’ll notice this extra padding providing cushioning.
