The Ocean & Earth Comp 6′ Leash is a great surf accessory for when you want to surf hard in small to mid size waves. Its 6mm diameter leg rope cord is robust. This diameter provides stretch and strength while not feeling in your way if it gets caught under your feet. The leash features a moulded horn that keeps the cord protruding away from your feet. So your surfing is unobstructed when you’re taking critical drops. Also the cord is less likely to be under your feet once surfing on the wave. To maximise strength the cuff to cord connection uses a diamond-flex pattern so you get maximum stretch and strength. The leash incorporates marine grade stainless steel swivels at both ends. So it turns and  moves freely and doesn’t snake or twist up. This is an important feature. It helps prevent the cord from snagging around your fins so your board doesn’t slow down or catch. The double padding on the ankle strap gives you a super comfortable fit. So if there’s a solid yank on your leg you’ll notice this extra padding providing cushioning.
