The NSP Cocomat Fish Surfboard is a distinctive fun design. What sets it apart is the eco cocomat finish. NSP has a sustainable technology, coco fiber incorporated into their moulded SecureCell EPS and vacuum moulded construction. So you get a board that looks great and is helping the environment. It terms of design this is a dynamic fish. It has a fuller shape compared to a normal shortboard. The nose is fuller so you get easy wave catching. This also helps get across fat foaming wave sections so you can link together sections for longer rides.
The width is extended through the body of the board. So you get good stability, important for your takeoff. The rails are fuller and low. This provides a balance between the board not catching in the chop, and being able to drive. Towards the tail the board takes on shortboard features with less width, a flyer and swallow tail. This setup enables you to get the board on its rail, necessary for doing harder, more radical turns.
The deck has a matt finish. So you get more traction and easy waxing. Hand polished rails provide speed. The bottom has a performance speed-finish. Featuring the FCS Original fin system you’ll be able to change the performance of the board. So different fins can be used for different conditions, small or big days.
