The NSP 04 Fighting Fish Surfboard hybrid gives you fun and performance in one package. From NSP, known for high quality epoxy designs, this board has a PU construction, like a traditional surfboard. In this way you get an entirely different feel than the epoxy mass-produced boards. The Fighting Fish surfs in the wave rather than floating on it like an epoxy. This allows you to harness the feel and power of the wave so helps your surfing progress. There’s lots of easy-to-surf features. The full more rounded nose makes wave catching easy. The straight outline through the middle makes the board fast so you don’t have to work too hard. The full rails are forgiving so you won’t catch on chop or bumps.

Performance comes in the form of the flyer at the rear of the board that brings in the tail. By moving your weight back over this area allows you to turn the board more easily and sharper. Added to this is a vee on the bottom so the board will turn on the rail allowing more vertical turns. The swallow tail gives a mix of bite and release. When you start a turn you get bite, a push in the direction you’re turning. As you come out of your turn you get release helping to change direction and do your next turn. An FCS Original fin system setup is featured. So, you’ll be able to change the feel of the board with stiffer or softer fins.  Stiffer fins will give you more speed and direction.
