The Komunity Project KP Nikki Van Dijk 30 Thruster FCS Fins come out of a Kelly Slater initiative. These fins are Nikki’s signature fin she used on the World Tour. The template is a larger one but refined, ideal for female surfers. So you don’t need as much weight to push them around. The fins have the same base width and height as Komunity’s 3.0 Kelly fins. However the fin is cutaway, removing area. So with the wide base you get drive to go hard off the bottom and off the top, and do a turn midway up the face. With the cutaway area you get responsive. So with less pressure you can do big changes of direction like cutbacks or off the tops. You have greater sensitivity so can setup for the tube feeling the wave power beneath your feet.

The Komunity Project Nikki Van Dijk 3.0 tip is less full. While having depth to hold in the wave it will flex allowing tighter arc turns. So you can do big moves like tail slides or release into airs without having to do a prolonged ramp up. Construction is a special blend of resin glass with a honey comb inner core. So the fins are light and don’t add anything in terms of weight, it’s all performance. The bullseye design is featured on translucent fins finished in Liquid Dynamic Technology with a lustre finish.
