The Komunity Project KP 6′ Comp Leash comes out of a Kelly Slater initiative, the Komunity Project. This is a great lightweight leash, perfect for small surf or when you need the minimum interference to your surfing, like in a competition. Consisting of solid urethane the leash is only 6mm in diameter so doesn’t clutter up your surfing. A generous well padded cuff is provided at the ankle. The cord also projects away from your ankle so the leash is out of your way once on the wave.

The leash has highest grade stainless steel swivels incorporated at both ends. So the leash turns and moves freely and doesn’t snake or twist. This is an important feature preventing the cord from snagging around your fins or causing your board to catch. A detachable triple wrap rail saver is also part of the package so your board gets maximum protection. A plug buddy is included so it is super easy to attach the leash to your board deck plug.
