The Komunity Project Clay Marzo Signature Tail Pad is 3 pieces with a trippy swirl design. 3 piece pads are one of the most functional. You’re able to move the two side pieces either close to the centre piece or expand them closer to the rails. This gives  you versatility to give both your narrow and wide tail boards optimal coverage. A raised arch of 6mm is in the middle of the pad so you get plenty of support as you move your foot around.  The tail has a 20mm kick so you can jam and drive. The kick is of hi-density EVA so that when you push against it you’ll get a bit of push back, it won’t be too soft or squishy. Your power will directly going into power carves.

Performance Features

A semi-circle incut at the rear means you can place this grip closer to the end of your board, around your leg rope plug. With the kick placed over your back fin your back foot is in the ideal position from which you can really drive. The arch and kick work together to create a sweet spot that your foot slots into. When your foot is on the arch your foot side is right at the base of the kick. From here, if your kick is positioned over your back fin you’ll get the optimum carving and turning from your board. An elevated square pattern covers the pad. This works in such a way so that no matter what angle your foot is placed you’ll always get the best resistance and grip.

The backing uses 3M that is one of the world leading brands for high quality adhesive. So the pad will stay put once applied.
