The Island Fin Design Aloha Voyager Single Fin is a great looking fin. Coming from Hawaii it has a beautiful Aloha island print embedded in the heart of the fin. The fin has a very vivid look achieved with this inlay of artwork. Laid out by hand no two artwork images or fins are exactly alike. The fin core is transparent so the artwork catches the light and looks great. The fin is designed for an adjustable fin box. It has a stub at the rear that slots into the fin box. So it slides in and out and up and down the length of the box. The front end has a screw and tab so the fin is securely fixed in the position that you choose.

Adjustable Performance

This adjustment of the Island Fin Design Voyager Single Fin is great as it allows you to try a range of positions in the fin box. Typically the farther back in the box the more carve and down the line your board will feel. The farther towards the front of the box the more loose and skatey your board will feel. The design has generous base rising to a narrow tip. So you get great down the line drive for the heaviest sections or hold for your maximum power. The fin base reduces quite quickly to the narrow tip so it will help you pivot into changes of direction. Your big bottom turn can be followed by a turn mid-way up the face or another power turn off the top. Flex in the tip means you won’t slide out. There’s still a lot of area in the fin so you’ll keep your direction without feeling like you’re tracking too much. Construction is solid, of fibreglass, with generous thickness and foil so perform well. The screw fitting is long wearing brass so the fin is durable.
