ION Ballistic Shoes

The ION Ballistic Shoes are a premium surf product and great wetsuit accessory. Construction is of 2.5mm neoprene the same material as your wetsuits. So you get a great balance between warmth and performance. Maximum balance and grip is provided by an internal split toe. Externally the toe is kept as one piece. So stress is reduced and durability increased on this high wear area. Internally your big toe can move helping with your balance so you get great performance on your board. Protection from sharp objects entering the sole is provided by Aramid fibres, a synthetic material. Rock and coral resistant, the ION Ballistic Shoe sole also provides flex. This is important so feedback is received by your feet. Foot contact with your board is vital and additional grooves cover the sole so you get good grip.

The ION Ballistic Shoe has an external shoehorn so  you get form at the ankle. An Ankle_loop greatly reduces the effort needed to enter and exit the boot. The seams use advanced Tatex sealing. These seams keep water entry to a minimum. A velcro closure gives good fit. A donut cuff seals the ankle further minimising water entry.
