The Futures Rob Machado Fiberglass Single Fin is one of Machado’s signature fins. Designed for his Mid Length and Longboards, it will give you a dynamic feel, way different than a thruster. It’s base uses an adjustable screw setup so it won’t work in a normal Futures box. It needs an adjustable fin box. This means you can move the fin position to get the best setup. Closer to the tail gives drive and hold. Placement farther up gives you a skate feel. The wide base provides a heap of drive. It’s about half as wide again as a thruster rear fin. It’s upright so has plenty of bite and hold in steep faces. The uprightness also gives good top to bottom surfing, it won’t force you down the line. The template narrows so you aren’t carry any extra drag. The tip is narrow providing a lot of release.

The Futures Rob Machado Fiberglass Fin is a versatile fin. It’s able to perform in your Fish, Mid Length, Bonzer, Longboard and 2+1. Construction is fibreglass so you get the best all-round characteristics. The fins feature a slide-able lock system so placement can be exactly where you want. They come with the Futures Truss Base so it’s light. This base is designed to break under impact so the risk of injury or board damage is reduced.
