The Futures Rasta Keel Fins gives you the signature performance of Dave Rastovich, free styling legend. Rasta has taken the standard keel template and radically improved it. So you get a fin that delivers speed, drive and hold along with Rasta’s spray-throwing release. The fins are large and give you a heap of drive. They’ll give your traditional Fish-style Twin Fin a real performance boost. The large keel fin area is needed to maintain hold in the wave and generate speed with the wide Fish tails. Rasta is the offsider of Future’s other stylish Rob Machado. The difference between the Machado Keel Fins is that Rasta’s give you a punchy retro feel while Rob’s are more high tech for more precise cruising. These are not cheap keel fins and Rasta adds super enhancements. For example the leading edge is specially designed to give release when you reach a critical point of thrust so you can easily break away into a turn.

The V2 foil is another enhancement. The V2 provides a concave-like surface on the inside base of the fin and this generates speed. The foil flattens out at the tip and this provides release. So you get super speed without the lock-in of tracking. The finish of the fin is jute fiber. So the fins give you an organic, environmental and good looking fin. The fins feature the Futures Truss Base so they are light. Designed to break under impact the truss reduces the risk of injury or board damage. You don’t get these features with cheap keel fins.
