This is the new version of the Futures Fins developed and ridden by John John in his winning years on the World Championship Tour. Futures give it a Ride Number of 3.7 out of 10. This means it’s super drivey. You plant your foot over the fins and apply as much power as you want and the fins will translate this into drive and super power turns. Along with drive you also get control. This means you can hold your turn as long as you want and do big direction changes almost anywhere on the face controlling the wave power.

Construction of the Future Fins John John Techflex Tri Fin Set includes Carbon Fiber with the Tech Flex pattern over honeycomb. So you get lightweight with stiffness and a controlled flex response. This means that initially when you push, the fin is stiff so you get the drive. Then when the wave power starts to overpower the fin carbon, it flexes whipping you through the turn. This overcomes the problem with stiff fins where they give you drive then suddenly release and wash out. The Tech Flex predictability helps you set up moves. So on a steep wave you can drive to the bottom and hold then go into a change of direction driving up the face. The fins come in 3 sizes to match your size as a surfer. These are the John John TechFlex Large, John John TechFlex Medium, and John John TechFlex Small.
