This gives a real benefit to your surfing. Most Twin Fins tend to track. This means they force you down the line in straighter drawn out turns.

The more vertical nature of these Futures Twin Fins gives you pivot. You still have a bigger fin so get lots of drive harnessing the wave power. However you can also pivot easily off the bottom and off the top giving you dynamic top to bottom surfing.

You can still go down the line by holding your line. As soon as you want you can jam a turn and these Future Fins will drive you with liveliness. These are a great set to have to complement your Futures Keel Fins. Keels give you long driving turns and these Akila’s allow you to mix up, going more vertical in short arc turns.

Solid Construction

Fibreglass construction of the Futures Akila Glass Twin Fin Set enhances the feel. The fiberglass is finer and more responsive than other Twin Fins. So they’re lighter and the tip flexes into the wave giving you a solid carving sensation. The fibreglass provides a predictable powerful release. There’s no quirky overflex and wash out.

The fin is designed by Akila Aipa son of famous Hawaiian shaper Ben Aipa. So it comes with both Hawaiian pedigree and experience in handling power. The fins feature the Futures Truss Base so they are light. Designed to break under impact the truss reduces the risk of injury or board damage.
