The Future Fins F6 Legacy HC Neutral QUAD Fin Set gives you 5 surfboard fins, a Thruster and Quad setup, right in the middle of the Future Fins range in the latest tech construction. They’re designed for the mid size surfer so the F6 Alpha is a reasonably balanced however with a Ride Number of 6.8 you get a touch more speed generation over control. F6 refers to the shape of the fin, so it’s between the F4 for smaller waves, and the F8 big template. The F6 base, while not large, gives you good positive drive and power transfer. At the tip the template is full so you get more drive.

Extra area in the Future Fins F6 Legacy HC Neutral QUAD Set tip helps the board hold on the rail while carving a turn. Off the top the fin tip loads energy and releases resiliently as needed. Construction of the Future Fins Legacy F6 is HC honey comb. So you get a very light set of surfboard fins. Future’s layup keeps the fin stiff with less flex in the body while the tip is flexier. Under your feet this gives you a positive feel with hold then release when you reach the critical part of your turn. The Quad Alpha F6 set gives you an ideal Quad setup. The Quad rear fins add smoothness and flow to your surfing most of the time. You get greater projection so you can make faster long running walls. In the right board stepping back over the Quads can allow power pivot turns.
