Foamie Shred Sled

The Foamie Shred Sled is a great Beginner and fun bodyboard. It features a thick cut EPS core. So you get extra float along and this helps give you great wave catching. You sit a little up on the water able to paddle easily. Internal to the board you get a carbon stringer. This is a feature normally only found in high end boards. The stringer helps the board flex and return to its flatness. This is vital when you’re doing turns. You want to bend the board into the wave so you can carve on the face, then when you release you want the board to spring back with energy. This recoil is provided by the stringer. The carbon is extra springy and will give you energy boosts as you go in and out of turns.

The bottom of the board has a DURA-HDPE slick. This gives you great speed and the DURA means you get durability. The slick has bottom channels graduated from nose to tail. So you get good water flow and extra release in the tail. The crescent tail gives stability so you can setup for the big moves. The Foamie comes with plug installed and leash tether so making it easy for you to get the board into the water. The deck is made of Cross Link IXL foam that gives a good surface for grip while still being. This is a great board to start and progress your bodyboarding.
