FK Brenno Dorrington Tail Pad

The FK Brenno Dorrington Tail Pad is the signature pad of ripper Brent Dorrington. Designed for all round solid surfing it has a 3 piece layout. This is super functional as the side pieces can be placed closer to the rails so narrow and wide tail boards get good coverage.

The centre piece has a medium raised arch in the form of a tear drop that sculpts to the bottom of your foot. This give support and helps you stay balanced. The arch tapers down into the area before the kick starts. So your foot can naturally fit into this wedge aiding positive traction. The arch also has holes improving grip and reducing weight.

The FK Brenno Dorrington Tail Pad has a kick that flattens out on top. So there’s a flat edge you can get the side of your foot on and really push on. The way the arch and kick work together creates a sweet spot. So when you place your foot into this area you get maximum traction.

The pad features a lot of holes that are great for your toes to grip into and reduce weight. An incut vee means you can place this grip closer to the end of your board, around your leg rope plug. So your back foot can be placed over your back fin for maximum drive.
