Description
FCS II JW PG Tri Fin Set
The FCS II JW PG Tri Fin Set is the signature fin of World Tour ripper Julian Wilson. This set has all fins having the same size. So a change compared to Julian’s previous fins where the rear fin was smaller. The fin characteristics give you projection along the face. Picture Julian driving down the line picking up speed setting up for an air. So that’s what these fins are all about. The side fins feature an 80/20 foil. This means the outside of the fin is convex with 80% foil. The inside is not flat but has a slight 20% foil. So this foil is all about consistency of feel and smooth transitions. It’s what you need when setting up for those big moves.
The PG of the FCS II JW PG Thruster Fin Set refers to the construction of the fin, Performance Glass. The characteristics and flex pattern are identical to traditional fibreglass fins so give you predictability. When you push the fins drive. There’s no quirky flex. These fins perform in down the line waves so are recommended for point and reef breaks. They’ll help you get the best performance from your board with deep concave and moderate to extreme rocker. Note, the FCS II JW PG Tri Fin Set is for exclusive use with the FCS II Fin System. So it will not fit in the traditional FCS Dual Plug System.
