The Exile Double Carbon Hornet Fibreglass Skimboard gives you the highest level skimboarding fun and performance. It’s the best seller in the Exile range with great shape and construction. The shape has Pro features with drawn out nose and tail. So with the less area you get less drag and way more control. It’s also very responsive so requires skill to be able to maximise performance. That being said it is the preferred shape of World Champion Sam Stinnett and other elite Exile team riders. The core is also the thinnest in the Exile range at 5/8″. This further adds to the responsive nature and while you get speed it also has less buoyancy so will lose speed fast. It’s a board you have to keep going and the rocker makes it easy to do that.

Hybrid Rocker

The Hybrid Rocker is used on most Exile boards so works in the widest range of conditions you face. Exile explain the rocker flat spot gives great transitions from the sand to surf, and if you’re not sure what rocker you should ride, then ride this one. The Exile Double Carbon Hornet Fibreglass Skimboard construction is Pro level. It’s carbon fibre with epoxy over a high density PVC foam core with extra fibreglass on the bottom. So with all that carbon you get a lot of pop and boost. As you flex and load up into turns you’ll get massive boost and release on the way out.
