The ECS Inception SUP Stand Up Paddle Board Wood is a purpose designed entry level SUP. This is a great value board. You get your board, adjustable carbon paddle, fins, leash and padded bag all included. It’s great for Beginners making their first entry into stand up paddling. The board design has a wider nose and this gives you easy paddling and a lot of stability. These two features go together as when you’re stable you can put your best effort into paddling and getting good stroke technique. The outline width carries down the board to just up from the tail. So this extra width gives you speed. It provides planning on the water surface. Speed equates to fun. The tail blends into a rounded square that is a proven design to do easy changes of direction and turns.

Proven Construction

Construction of the ECS Inception SUP Stand Up Paddle Board is proven to be durable. It uses a foam core laminated with fibreglass that is pressure sealed in a mould. The result is a good strength to weight ratio so it’s strong and light. Coming in at a great price point it’s designed to be used in appropriate smaller conditions. A wood finish on the deck and bottom helps give good protection from pressure dings you get from standing on or bumping the board. The deck has a three quarter deck pad so you get great grip and additional protection.
