DSCO Pivot Cups

The DSCO Pivot Cups give you added function and performance for your skateboard. The pivot cups fit into your base plate under the front pivot piece of your trucks. You may have seen but not really noticed that there’s a small piece of material, like a tiny bushing, in there. This is a replacement piece. It’s made of high quality urethane.

When replacing your wheels, and your bushings it would make sense to also replace your pivot cup. This is because they’re in a similar wear zone on your trucks. And they’re made of similar urethane material. The pivot cup does make a difference to your ride. For example if you’re swapping out a used worn-in one for a new one.

When doing truck maintenance, remove the existing pivot cup with a bit of effort and the right tool. The right tool is a pair of needle nose pliers. If you don’t have these then you can try jamming in the end of your axle and using the thread to leverage the cup out. You then simply place the new cup in the pivot hole.
