The Creatures SUP 10′ Ankle Leash is a premium leash. The Creatures Leash features a SureFire Release Tag that gives you quick release. The tab sits up off the cuff so it’s easy to release in an emergency. This is an important feature if you get into trouble as you can easily be free of your board. Quick release is also super handy and convenient when you’re getting out of the water. The SureFire Release Tag incorporates moulded holes. These allow water to flow freely reducing drag. The Creatures SUP Ankle Leash also features a patented DNA Flex Mould. This connects the cord to the cuff addressing a crucial breaking point. It stretches with the leash to resist breakage, the DNA and leash stretching up to 5 x original length. So it can cope with the heavy weight of your SUP.

Incorporated at either end of the Creatures SUP 10′ Ankle Leash are stainless steel swivels. They’re heavy duty, unbreakable and feature self-lubrication so you get friction free motion, eliminating tangles. This is a great feature as if your leash tangles under your fins it can slow your board down. If it gets tangled under your feet it can trip you up. Both scenarios can lead to a wipeout. Recommended for medium waves it’s dimensions are 10′ 3m long by 8mm cord thickness. So its got the length to let your board be taken by the wave far enough away so as not to hit you.
