Creatures Longboard Ankle 9′ Leash

The Creatures Longboard Ankle 9′ Leash is a premium surf accessory. It’s 9′ cord gives you extra length so the extra benefit of keeping your board away from you in the case of a wipeout. With bigger boards you don’t want your board too close when you’re bouncing around in the foam. The SureFire Release Tag gives you quick release.

This tab sits up off your ankle so it’s easy to release the lease in an emergency if you need to ditch your board. Quick release is also super handy when you’re getting out of the water so it’s super quick to get your leash off. The SureFire Release Tag incorporates moulded holes.

DNA Release

These allow water to flow freely reducing drag. The patented DNA Flex Mould connects the leg rope to the cuff. This addresses a crucial breaking point. So it stretches with the leash to resist breakage, the DNA and leash stretching up to 5 x original length.

Incorporated at either end of the Creatures Longboard Ankle 9′ Leg Rope are stainless steel swivels. They’re heavy duty, unbreakable and feature self-lubrication so you get friction free motion, so eliminating tangles. The leash is recommended for the medium sized surf. Its dimensions are 9′ 2.7m long by 7mm wide so it’s not a bulky leg rope.

This is a great leash to use across a wide range of conditions. It will work in tiny surf as it’s not too thick. As the waves get bigger the cord diameter will cope with increasing wave power. If you find yourself out when it’s too big then the quick release gives you a great measure safety.
