Bones And Shanks Keel Fin Set

The Bones And Shanks Keel Fin Set gives you 2 fins to use in your Softboard fin system. Note, the Bones & Shanks fin system is different than that used in most Softboards. It uses a fin box compared to fins with plastic screws that screw through the deck. It is also different than FCS and Futures so will not work in those systems.

These fins have a small keel shape. The design inspiration is to use them as Quad rear fins if your Softboard has a Quad fin setup. The fins are not large in size, more like a Trailer fin. So with the keel shape you’ll get good drive as they have a lot of area in the small size.

As Quads you’ll get be able to hold a line, driving off the bottom and projecting on the face. Quads and keels can tend to make you track but the smaller size of these fins will enable you to turn. The keel shape helping give smooth flow in direction changes.
