Description
Billabong Mens Union LS Rashvest
The Billabong Mens Union LS Rashvest is a great way to stay protected when surfing and at the beach. You get a great silk touch that’s super comfy. It won’t catch and stick on your skin even when wet. So chances of rashing are greatly reduced. You get a 50+ UPF rating for sun protection. This means you can surf and swim and minimise the effect of the sun on your upper body. There’s also a sun protection blocking Factor of 98% meaning it slows down the penetration of the sun’s rays to your skin. The construction is of quality poly elastane so you get good stretch and fit with durability. Elastine is a great alternative over Lycra. It has more body so in the water it won’t bag or balloon out every time a wave comes. It will hold its shape. As the wind rises the elastine also provides more protection. The long sleeves provide additional protection from the elements. Flat locked seams are used throughout. These are seams that are flat against the material and so aren’t raised. They give you protection from rashing and a comfort feel.
Performance Features
The Billabong Mens Union LS Rashvest includes additional features. The fit is relaxed. This is a great help if you want to feel cool, free and easy at the beach. With the Factor blocking your body has the space to cool down beneath your rash vest. While there’s a generous fit it’s not excessive so won’t interfere with your performance surfing. There’s no chance of catching your hand on the vest as often happens with baggy t-shirts worn while surfing. It also helps with duck diving or recovering from a wipeout as the vest doesn’t balloon up and fill with water. The material has saltwater and chlorine resistant properties. This means it will give you great wear and durability even in chlorinated indoor or other types of swimming or wave pools. The Billabong Mens Union LS Rashie gives you great surfing and protection from the sun and elements. Check our range of Rash Vests at Manly Surfboards>Rash Vests
