The Billabong Destination Low Tide Boardshorts give you a great surf short with versatility for more general wear. The colour and pattern are more subtle, like a walk short. You also get a good pocket setup. There’s a side pocket for your phone, keys and cash. There’s also a back pocket for wax, wax comb and fin key.

The cut of the short is wider through the hips. This gives a greater feel of freedom while not having gaping legs. The leg length is 19″, so sits between your knee and thigh. They’re not too long so as to obstruct your surf moves. Nor too short so as to ride up.

You get a waistband with a drawstring closure that fits snug and keeps your shorts anchored where they need to be. They won’t be slipping down at a critical point on your ride and you won’t have to spend time pulling them up after a wipeout.

The construction material is 4 way stretch so any way you move, it flexes with you. You also get Micro Repel coating. This repels water so keeps your shorts staying pretty much dry.
