The Balin Surf Cap is the latest version of Balin’s design proven to give you great sun protection and surfing. The cap has an improved visor. The visor is not too stiff. The problem with a stiff visor is that it gets caught by the wave when your duck diving or going through a wave and gets pulled off your head. The Balin visor has flex so lets the wave pass by without your cap being dislodged. The visor is just the right size so as to give maximum sun protection. When the sun’s high you get shade coverage over your nose and face. When it’s low in the arvo or morning you still get coverage stopping glare in your eyes. This cap gives you an entirely different feel when compared to the floppy hats that can be ungainly especially when wet.

Function & Comfort

A padded neoprene chin strap works with the size adjustment to give you a great fit. One size fits all. The chin clasp has an adjustable quick release connector making it easy to get the cap on and off. The Balin Surf Cap features neoprene and mesh on the side and ear panel. This gives you additional comfort in an area prone to chaffing. It also gives space around your ear ensuring good hearing and quick release of any water so you don’t get clogged ears. An optional leash is available so that in the event of a huge wipeout you won’t loose your cap. The fabric is quick dry so water quickly rolls or evaporates off.
