Description
Balin Kirra Comp 6′ Legrope
The Balin Kirra Comp 6′ Legrope is a high performance leg rope. It’s called a Comp leash as it has a 5.5mm cord diameter. This is thin and so gives you the best feel when surfing, it’s almost unnoticeable. If it gets under your feet it makes almost no difference to your surfing. If it gets under your fins it will normally just wash out giving you uninterrupted surfing. These features are important as when you’re in competition surfing you want to worry about as little as possible so this leash takes care of itself. The cord of the Balin Kirra Comp 6′ Legrope is of high quality urethane. So it has the right amount of spring and elasticity. It doesn’t overstretch and returns the board where you need it.
Double Swivel Quality
Double swivels of naval quality brass are embedded in the urethane at either end of the Balin Kirra Comp 6′ Legrope. So the leash turns and moves super freely. This helps reduce snaking and twisting. It prevents the cord from getting caught around your feet or snagging around your fins slowing you down causing your board to catch.
The leash cuff has neoprene padding. This is the same material that’s used on your wetsuit. It’s soft giving you comfort. It also has a nylon finish so won’t slip around too much. It will stay in place and this helps the stand away design that keeps the leash directed away from your feet. You get unobstructed surfing when you’re taking critical drops and the cord isn’t under your feet once on the wave. The Balin Kirra Comp 6′ Leash also includes a key pocket so you can stash your key. A detachable rail saver is also part of the package making it easy to move the leg rope from board to board. Construction is of quality components.
